Installation & Safety Tips

• The 80% Rule (CRITICAL): To ensure the longest possible lifespan and prevent overheating, never load a power supply to 100% capacity. You should only run a maximum of 48 Watts (80% of 60W) continuously on this transformer.
• Observe DC Polarity: When splicing your LED strips to the output side of this driver, strictly match the Red wire to Positive (+) and the Black wire to Negative (-). Reversing this will not damage the LEDs, but they will fail to light up.
• Waterproof Your Splices: While the power supply block itself is waterproof, the bare wire connections you make to your lights are not. You must use adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing or waterproof silicone wire nuts to seal your connections.
• Do Not Submerge Permanently: IP67 means the unit can survive temporary shallow submersion (like a heavy puddle), but it is not designed to operate permanently underwater (like sitting at the bottom of a pond). Mount it off the ground where water can drain.
• Not for Dimmable Switches: This is a standard constant-voltage driver. You cannot wire this to an AC wall dimmer switch. To dim your lights, you must install a 12V DC inline LED dimmer on the low-voltage output side of the transformer.
