632625 Furnace Ignitor - For Nordyne Intertherm Broan Miller Furnaces

632625 Furnace Ignitor - For Nordyne Intertherm Broan Miller Furnaces

632625 Hot Surface Furnace Ignitor

Key Features

  • Direct replacement hot surface ignitor designed to safely and consistently ignite the gas burner assembly in residential heating systems.
  • Constructed from high-density, temperature-resistant materials to withstand rapid heating cycles and prevent thermal shock cracking.
  • Includes a factory-crimped, high-temperature ceramic wire harness and plug block for a secure, plug-and-play electrical connection.
  • Engineered to exact original equipment resistance specifications for optimal heat-up timing and immediate gas ignition.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • 632625
  • 632625R
  • 1016290S
  • N1016290S
  • CMF95Ā M7RL
  • CMF95/M7

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Compatible with select residential and mobile home gas furnaces.
  • Fits specific furnace units manufactured by Nordyne, Intertherm, Broan, and Miller.

When to Replace

  • The furnace draft inducer motor runs and the gas valve opens, but the burners fail to light, causing the system to lock out.
  • The ignitor heating element displays visible hairline cracks, structural breakage, or heavy white oxidation spots.
  • The furnace diagnostic control board continuously flashes an error code indicating an ignition failure.
  • Testing the ignitor wire leads with a digital multimeter displays infinite resistance (an open circuit).

Installation Tips

  • Turn off the main electrical breaker to the furnace and shut off the incoming gas supply valve prior to servicing the unit.
  • Never touch the dark heating element of the new ignitor with your bare hands; skin oils will create hot spots and cause the part to shatter when energized.
  • Carefully insert the new ignitor through the burner box mounting bracket, as the element is extremely brittle and will snap if bumped against the metal housing.
  • Route the wire harness exactly as it was originally placed, ensuring it is secured well away from the open burner flames and sharp sheet metal edges.
