  • The engine is difficult to start, stalls frequently, or dies immediately after turning over.
  • The equipment experiences rough idling, bogs down under load, or lacks power during acceleration.
  • Fuel is leaking directly from the carburetor body or the surrounding gasket area.
  • The engine will only stay running when the choke is partially or fully engaged.

Installation Tips

  • Completely drain the fuel tank and clear the fuel lines before removing the old carburetor.
  • Inspect and replace the mounting gasket and fuel filter during installation to ensure a proper vacuum seal and clean fuel flow.
  • Photograph or take note of the original fuel line routing and throttle linkage positions prior to disassembly.
  • Minor adjustments to the high and low mixture screws may be required to fine-tune engine performance after installation.
